The UTAR MBBS programme follows a systemic and integrated approach that aims to equip graduates with not only the required clinical skills, but also effective communication skills to function as competent and caring doctors. Academic foundation, analytical and critical thinking ability will be provided for engagement in life-long learning, research and continuing professional development. Ethical values, professionalism and moral responsibility to both patients and the community will be instilled in the UTAR graduates.
STPM with minimum Grade B in Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics Or A-level with with minimum Grade B in Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics or South Australian matriculation (SAM) with minimum score 80% including Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics Or Canadian Pre-University with an average of 80% including 80% in Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics or Unified examination certificate (UEC) with Grade B4 in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, Mathematics and Advanced Mathematics.
Foundation in Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Or Foundation from other Institutions Of Higher Learning in the relevant field or Matriculation certificate , Ministry of Education or Diploma in Science,Tunku Abdul Rahman Universiti college (TAR UC) in the relevant field or Diploma in Science from other Institutions Of Higher Learning in the relevant field or
Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government AND MUET Band 4/equivalent for those with SPM/O-levels, B in Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics/ Additional Mathematics and another subject Malaysian applicants shall have also attend a credit in SPM Bahasa Malaysia and English Language or its equivalent
