Corporate Communication is a key function dedicated to managing information of an organization. It manages and controls the information flows to key stakeholders, the communication of corporate strategy and the development of information for variety of purposes for the consumption of different stakeholders. This function is responsible for the image and reputation of an organisation especially in the 21st century where corporate social responsibilities have taken on a new dimension. It supervises communication strategy, media relations, internal communications, reputation management, corporate social responsibility, investor relations, government affairs and sometimes marketing communication.The Bachelor of Corporate Communication (Hons) will produce graduates who are savvy in the management, application, dissemination and control of information. Students will be trained to handle and manage communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Graduates who are caliber in media and information savvy are sought after by corporations of all sectors.
Entry Requirements
STPM with minimum 2 principal passes in the relevant subjects Or A-level with minimum 2 passes in the relevant subjects Or South Australian matriculation (SAM) with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and grade B in 2 relevant subjects Or Canadian Pre-University with an average of 70% in 6 relevant subjects or Unified examination certificate (UEC) with Grade B in 5 relevant subjects
Foundation in Arts, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Or Foundation in Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Or Foundation from other Institutions Of Higher Learning Or Matriculation certificate, Ministry of Education
Diploma,Tunku Abdul Rahman Universiti college (TAR UC) Or Diploma from other Institutions Of Higher Learning Or Other equivalent qualifications
AND a credit in SPM/O-level English Language or Unified examination certificate (UEC) with grade B in 5 relevant subjects including English Language/credit in SPM English Language
