The programme is an interdisciplinary field that encompasses essential aspects of agriculture and agronomy. Agriculture involves a holistic understanding of the techniques and efficient and careful management of resources for the sustainable production of animals and plants for human consumption. Agronomy includes research and development that leads to improved production.Students will learn the principles and applicants of science, economics and management animal and plant production, agribusiness, land and water management and systems analysis. They will be introduced to the fundamental scientific concepts of agricultural production in order to understand the current issues faced by the industry as well as to develop novel technologies to assess and improve the agricultural sectors.
Entry Requirements
STPM principal passes in Biology and Chemistry Or A-level with principal passes in Biology and Chemistry Or South Australian matriculation (SAM) with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in in Biology and Chemistry
Canadian Pre-University with an average of 70% in 6 relevant subjects including Biology and Chemistry Or Unified examination certificate (UEC) with grade B in 5 relevant subjects including Biology and Chemistry Or Matriculation certificate , Ministry of Education Biology and Chemistry Or Foundation in Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR)
Diploma,Tunku Abdul Rahman Universiti college (TAR UC) in the relevant field or Foundation from other Institutions Of Higher Learning including Biology and Chemistry or Diploma from other Institutions Of Higher Learning in the relevant field Or Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government
