The programme concentrates on the practical application of technical knowledge (i.e. in mathematics, physics, engineering and social sciences) together with principles and methods of engineering analysis and design. It aims to produce graduates who can demonstrate capabilities to acquire and apply knowledge of science and engineering fundamentals, possess in-depth technical competence in the industrial engineering discipline to undertake problem identification, formulation and solution and possess the ability to utilise a systems approach to design an optimise system's performance.
Entry Requirements
STPM with minimum 2 principal passes in Mathematics and Physics Or A-level with minimum 2 passes in Mathematics and Physics Or South Australian matriculation (SAM) with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and grade B in Mathematics and Physics Or Canadian Pre-University with an average of 70% in 6 subjects including 2 Mathematics subjects and Physics Or Unified examination certificate (UEC) with Grade B in 5 subjects including Mathematics and Physics
Foundation in Science in the relevant field approved by the Malaysian government Or Foundation from other Institutions Of Higher Learning in the relevant field recognised by the Malaysian government or Diploma,Tunku Abdul Rahman Universiti college (TAR UC) in the relevant field Or Diploma from other Institutions Of Higher Learning in the relevant field recognised by the Malaysian government or Matriculation certificate, Ministry of Education in the relevant field or Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government
