On 7th July 2009, the University Board of Directors in its second meeting has approved the establishment of a new faculty for Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, known as Faculty of Science, Technology and Human Development. The Faculty, which was officially established on 1st August 2009, is a merging of the Centre for Science Studies and Centre for Humanities and Communication Studies, in which previously they operated independently.
The education and training practice in this university is a continuous effort to become the leader in market oriented academic programs.These programs are student-focused and are conducted through experiential learning in order to produce well trained human resource and professionals who are catalysts for sustainable development.

SPM or its equivalent with minimum of 5 Cs for the subjects inclusive of Malay and Mathematics and at least a pass in English.
Relevant certificate from Polytechnics under the Ministry of Education, Malaysia at least CPA 2.70 and posess Cs in Malay and at least a pass in English at SPM level.
