This is a programme that prepares you to provide tax advice and management services to individuals and corporations. It includes instruction in tax law and regulations, tax record systems, individual and corporate income tax, tax planning, partnerships and fiduciary relationships, estates and trusts, property depreciation, capital gains and losses, dispositions, transfers, liquidity, valuation, and applications to specific tax problems. MOUs with leading tax institutions such as the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) and the Malaysian Association of Tax Accountants (MATA) will lead to a programme that is jointly developed by academia and the industry experts, and that provides numerous tangible benefits to its graduates.
Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 2 AND Pass in STPM with a minimum grade of C+ (Grade Point of 2.33) in any TWO (2) subjects; OR Pass in A-Level with full pass in any TWO (2) courses; OR Pass Foundation or Pre-university with a minimum CGPA of 2.50; OR Pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)with a minimum grade of Jayyid; OR Pass in UEC with minimum of B grade in FIVE (5) subjects including in Mathematics & a pass English; OR Diploma in Accounting or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 from universities/Colleges recognised by the Malaysian Government; OR Pass in International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with minimum score of 30 points; OR Other equivalent qualifications recognised by MQA/Malaysian Government. Additional Requirements SPM with credit in English & Mathematics.
English Proficiency Requirements International Students TOEFL 550; OR IELTS Band 5.5; OR Pre-U or Secondary Education undertaken in English medium. The validity period for TOEFL and IELTS is TWO (2) years from the date of the award. Malaysian Students Malaysian students who enroll into Universiti Tun Abdul Razak Bachelor's programmes must possess a minimum of Band 2 in their Malaysia University English Test (MUET). University Exit Requirements Malaysian students - MUET Band 4 International students - IELTS Band 6
Diploma from UNIRAZAK with CGPA achievement at least 2.75; or
Diploma from other Universities with CGPA achievement at least 3.00; or
Diploma from Polytechnics under the Ministry of Education, Malaysia
Equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Malaysian Government
