COURSE OVERVIEW

The Foundation in Computer Science is a programme that serves as the stepping stone for students to venture into a Bachelor's degree in UNITEN under the field of Computer Science.

This syllabus has been designed to meet the requirements of professional bodies and industries while giving students the competitive edge. Emphasis is on the application of knowledge through teamwork, case studies, simulations and real life projects.

Students successfully completed their Foundation in Computer Science programme will be able to enter into Bachelor of Computer Science programmes.

50 credit hours of subjects are being taught in three semesters. This Foundation in Computer Science programme can be completed in 1 year.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Detailed entry requirements

SPM

Pass SPM with minimum credits (grade C) in Mathematics, 2 science subjects, and 2 additional subjects.

O-Level

Pass O-Level with minimum credits (grade C) in in Mathematics, 2 science subjects, and 2 additional subjects.

UEC

Pass UEC with a minimum of grade B in Advanced Mathematic and 3 additional subjects.
