COURSE OVERVIEW

This Bachelor's program offered by the Department of Management and Human Resources under the College of Business Management and Accounting is tailored specifically for students that are interested to pursue their careers in the new global setting of international businesses. This program is also designed to provide the students with the business and management skills, language competence and cultural awareness required for success in such an international business environment. Also, the degree offers an exciting mix of business and management subjects, plus the study of a language, compulsory for the first year and optional thereafter. With an extra language with the mixture of management skills, graduates will be able to secure good prospects in the labor market also will have the option to pursue a higher degree.

This Bachelor in International Business programme can be completed in 3 years.

STPM

Pass STPM with minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any 2 subjects
Pass Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris at SPM Level.

STAM

Pass STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid (taken within 2 years prior to application)
Pass Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris at SPM Level

Matriculation

Pass Matriculation with minimum CGPA of 2.00
Pass Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris at SPM Level

Foundation

Pass Foundation with minimum CGPA of 2.00
Pass Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris at SPM Level

A-Level

Pass A-Level with minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any 2 subjects.

Diploma

Pass Diploma (level 4 MQF) OR pass Advanced Diploma (level 5 MQF) with minimum CGPA 2.00
Pass Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris at SPM Level

Higher National Diploma (HND)

Pass HND in related field with minimum CGPA 2.00

UEC

Pass UEC with a minimum of grade B in any 5 subjects
Pass Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris

Pass IB with total points at least 30 points.

Other Requirements

Pass South Australian Matriculation (SAM) and South Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) with 70%, OR
Pass South Australia Certificate of Education (SACE) and Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) with Band 2 in 2 subjects.

Diploma Vocational Requirements

Pass Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/ Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/ Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and Pass Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM).

English Requirements

For Malaysian Students:

Students have taken MUET before enrol. However, students are required to complete MUET during the duration of the study (before graduation). IELTS (5.0 and above) or TOEFL (500 and above) or TOEFL Internet-Based Test (42 and above) is also accepted.

For International Students:

International students are required to have one of the English proficiency scores stated below to enrol in UNITEN. Bachelor students who do not fulfil this English requirement are required to sit for the Intensive English Programme (IEP) and pass the requirement below before starting their Bachelor programme.

Achieve Band 3.5 and above
IELTS – International English Language Testing System
Achieve 5.5 and above
TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language
Achieve 500 (TOEFL) or 46 (TOEFL Internet Based Test) and above
