This programme focuses on providing sound knowledge and experience in business management systems analysis and design methods, database management systems and commercial applications with opportunities to specialise in Enterprise Information Systems and Knowledge Management. Throughout the programme there is also emphasis on ways to control and manage appropriate software in order to support business decision-making and to communicate effectively in commercial and business environment. Students are equipped with relevant business management tools to take on the challenges of the global business scenario via the minor electives offered – financial management or corporate management.In later years of study, students will have the opportunity to major in one of these selected areas:Enterprise Information Systems Knowledge Management
Applicants wishing to enroll at UTP for undergraduate programmes must possess a minimum of 1 (one) of the following qualifications:
STPM Pass STPM with at least Principal C (or 2.00) in Mathematics AND any other two (2) non-language subjects; AND At least a final CGPA of 2.00/4.00; AND At least Grade C in Mathematics at SPM.
A-Level or Equivalent
Pass with at least Grade C in Mathematics AND any other two (2) non-language subjects; AND At least Grade C in Mathematics at SPM.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
Pass with at least Point 4 in Mathematics AND any other two (2) non-language subjects.
Matriculation
Pass Matriculation Program in relevant field from an Institution which is recognized by the Malaysian Government with at least a final CGPA of 2.00/4.00; AND At least Grade C in Mathematics at SPM
Foundation in Relevant Field from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS
Pass Foundation Program in relevant field from UTP with at least a final CGPA of 2.00/4.00; AND At least Grade C in Mathematics at SPM
Foundation in Relevant Field from a Recognized Institution
Pass Foundation Program in relevant field from an Institution which is recognized by the Malaysian Government with at least a final CGPA of 2.00/4.00; AND At least Grade C in Mathematics at SPM
Diploma in Relevant Field from a Recognized Institution
Pass a Diploma Program (Level 4, Malaysian Qualifications Framework-MQF) in: i) Computing - Final CGPA of 2.50/4.00 - Any other Relevant Field Final CGPA of 2.00/4.00; AND from an Institution which is recognized by the Malaysian Government AND At least Grade C in Mathematics at SPM
Higher National Diploma (HND) from Other IPT Recognized by the Malaysian Government

Australian Matriculation Programme
Pass Australian Matriculation Program with at least Grade C (OR 60%) in Mathematics OR Specialised Mathematics and any other two (2) non-language subjects: •Year 12 Certificate, Australian Capital Territory •Higher School Certificate (HSC), New South Wales •Northern Territory Certificate Education (NTSE) •Queensland Senior Certificate •South Australian Certificate of Education Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE) •Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) •Western Australia Certificate of Education (WACE)
