By choosing to enrol in this course, students will be exposed to the fundamentals of electrical and electronics engineering in the first four semesters of studies. During the final semester, student will be equipped with knowledge specifically related to this program which covers industrial automation, computer in process control as well as instrumentation in industries and the medical field. The final year project provides a platform for the students to utilize and practice their technical and design knowledge. Graduates from this program have vast career opportunities be ot with the government or the private sector. Among the fields of work that can be penetrated by the students are the automobile industry, production of electrical, electronics and semi-conductor products. Graduates could also work in the biomedical engineering field, engineering consultation, quality control as well as oil and gas industries.
Entry Requirements
General University Requirement: Pass SPM level or equivalent with good results Credit in Bahasa Melayu/ Bahasa Malaysia at SPM level or equivalent and Pass in Sejarah Not colour blind and Credits in the following subjects: Mathematics Additional Mathematics Physics English and
Credit in any one of the following subjects: Chemistry Biology Additional Science Electrical & Electronic Engineering Studies Civil Engineering Study Mechanical Engineering Study Engineering Technology Engineering Drawing Information Technology Installation & Electrical Control Geometrical & Electrical Drawing Radio & Television Servicing Geometrical & Electronic Drawing Invention Electrical & Electronic Principles Electrical & Electronic Applications Information And Communication Technology Electrical Technology
or Pass the Pre-Science Programme (PD008) UiTM with: Semester 1: CGPA 3.00 OR Semester 2: CGPA 2.50 or A Pass in Certificate of Polytechnic or other institutions that are recognised by the Malaysian Government with a minimum grade of C in: Mathematics Engineering Science and Four (4) any other subjects or
APEL Candidates Pass MQA (aptitude test and portfolio evaluation) At least 20 years old in the year of application Work experience in the related field for at least four (4) years and Pass SPM / equivalent and pass: Mathematics and Additional Mathematics Physic / Chemistry / Science / Additional Science English
