Manufacturing Design is a branch of manufacturing engineering that focuses on design function in the effort to reduce product manufacturing and assembly cost. Design is considered as a heart of engineering discipline. Students with strong manufacturing engineering background will be further exposed to techniques and approaches in design for manufacturing and assembly. The knowledge and skills that acquired will help them in designing products and cost-effective system with high quality as well as environmentally safe and sustainable.
C Grade (NGMP 2.00) in General Studies; and
C Grade (NGMP 2.00) in two(2) other subjects or A pass in Matriculation 2009 or previous examination with at least a CGPA of 2.00 and Obtained at least Band 1 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
