As a student for the Bachelor of a Manufacturing Engineering (Engineering Materials), you will have the opportunity to develop a strong knowledge in manufacturing engineering with a specialization in engineering materials related area. This is of great importance for strategic advancement in manufacturing engineering that is directly related to the national industrial well being.The program curriculum consists of university compulsory subjects, faculty/program core subjects and department/core course subjects. In general, subjects are being taught in 8 semesters and on average there are 7 subjects per semester. The curriculum contains general education courses in the area of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering and Science, Computer Science, and Technical Communication. The department also offers a variety of practical-oriented courses to enhance student’s technical skills. The program also includes a compulsory Industrial Training attachment during semester 6 for a period of 20 weeks.
C Grade (NGMP 2.00) in General Studies; and
C Grade (NGMP 2.00) in two(2) other subjects or A pass in Matriculation 2009 or previous examination with at least a CGPA of 2.00 and Obtained at least Band 1 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
