The establishment of the Department of Finance & Banking, UniSZA was after realizing the shortage of Islamic banking and finance professionals worldwide. Islamic banking and finance has grown rapidly in recent years, driven by the current global monetary meltdown. There is now increased demand for experts in the areas of Islamic banking, Islamic capital markets, Takaful, Islamic wealth management, Islamic financial planning, etc.
SPM / equivalent with good;credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia at SPM / equivalent;
STPM with at least:grade C (CGPA 2.00) in General Studies; grade C (2.00) two (2) other subjects; pass the Malaysian University Bahasa Inggeris Test (MUET) with at least a Level 1 (Band 2).
