COURSE OVERVIEW

GENERAL UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS

A pass in Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) examination with a distinction in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia paper or a distinction in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia July paper.

and

A minimum of Band 1 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Matriculation / Foundation leavers from Ministry of Education Malaysia (MoE) Matriculation / Universiti Malaya (UM) Foundation Studies in Science / Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Foundation Studies in Science

A pass in MoE Matriculation Examination / UM Foundation Studies in Science Examination / UiTM Foundation Studies in Science Examination with CGPA > 3.00.

Malaysian Higher Certificate of Education (STPM)

A pass in STPM with CGPA > 3.00 with:

A minimum of B Grade [GPA 3.00] in General Studies (Pengajian Am).

and

A minimum of B Grade [GPA 3.00] in two (2) other subjects.

A-Level

A pass in the A-Level examination with CGPA > 3.00

Diploma of Pharmacy leavers

A pass in the Diploma examination with CGPA > 3.80

USM BACHELOR OF PHARMACY PROGRAMME REQUIREMENTS

Matriculation / Foundation leavers from Ministry of Education Malaysia (MoE) Matriculation / Universiti Malaya (UM) Foundation Studies in Science / Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Foundation Studies in Science

A pass in MoE Matriculation Examination / UM Foundation Studies in Science Examination / UiTM Foundation Studies in Science Examination with CGPA > 3.00 with:

A minimum of B Grade [GPA 3.00] in

Chemistry and

Biology / Physics / Mathematics

and

iii. A minimum of Band 3 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET)

Note: Applicants who did not sit for the Biology paper at the Matriculation / Foundation level are expected to have passed the Biology paper with Distinction at the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) level.

Malaysian Higher Certificate of Education (STPM) / A-Level / Diploma of Pharmacy leavers

A minimum of B Grade [GPA 3.00] in these subjects

· Chemistry and
