Applied Physics offers a balanced study between the fundamental of physics and their applications. To realise the idea, other than teaching classes, students are provided with laboratories for practical classes and research laboratories, student reading room, computer laboratory, microprocessor laboratory, computer assisted learning laboratory, computational laboratory and seminar and tutorial rooms for good exposure to the applications of Physics. All are available in building G06 for the use of students. Visits to relevant factories around Penang and Kulim are conducted during the Final Year.
