COURSE OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Environmental Management Programme is designed with the objectives of producing skilled and trained graduates in the field of environmental management; oriented toward

problem-solving by consideration and analysis of relevant aspects of bio-physical, economic and social sciences; able to manage the use of technology to improve the quality of life in the administration and management of sustainable development; and ethical, concerned, proactive, presentable,

competitive and possessing a culture of excellence.

The programme is taught over a period of 8 semesters and requires completion of 130 credits of course work. This includes 24 weeks of Industrial Training in the 6th semester, and a final year project thesis.

Admission Requirements

A minimum C Grade at GCE Ordinary (O) level in any two (2) subjects chosen from Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Additional Mathematics.

Credits at GCE Advanced (A) level in:
- Mathematics/Additional Mathematics
- One (1) Science subject
- Two (2) other subjects
