The department of Computer and Communication Systems Engineering (CCSE) was established in 1997 as part of the expansion of the Electrical Engineering department. The department has developed tremendously in providing education and training to students in the integrated field of computer and communications engineering, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The department is located at the Faculty of Engineering Complex in the main campus of Universiti Putra Malaysia.Currently offering Bachelor of Engineering (Computer and Communication Systems) for undergraduate students, which the students can choose between two specialized areas; Computer Engineering or Communication Engineering. The programme offered is fully accredited by the Public Service Department Malaysia, Board of Engineers Malaysia, and the Institution of Engineers Malaysia.The department is also certified by ISO 9001: 2008 for all operations including matters pertaining to teaching and learning processes. Outcome Based Education (OBE) has been adopted as the main approach of teaching and learning at the department towards good quality and world-class education. Admission Requirements
