Bachelor of Science (Nautical Science and Maritime Transport) is the first degree program offered at the local University. Nautical Science is a field of expertise to deal with organizational, operational and commercial operation of ships. The program is to produce graduates with the skills of navigation and shipping led the navigation deck officers. In addition, the program is also closely related to work on the management and administration of the port. Nautical science focuses specifically include Knowledge of shipping and navigation, cargo and ship handling, communications equipment, chart work and surveillance, meteorology and law in the maritime field to be applied while on board.
Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent with credits in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia or credit in Malay / Bahasa Malaysia paper in July;
Have a diploma or other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government and approved by the Senate public; or
Passed in Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) with at least;
Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in General Studies;
Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in two (2) other subjects; or
Passed Matriculation examination with a CGPA of at least 2.00;
A minimum of a Level 1 (Band 1) in the Malaysian University Bahasa Inggeris Test (MUET).
