UMT - Universiti Malaysia Terengganu

This program focuses on the theoretical aspects and practical biological science classification taxonomy, genetics, ecology, physiology, cell biology, histology, anatomy, bio statistics and development of organisms in both the animal and plant life. This program aims to produce graduates who have a broad and deep knowledge in the theory and practice in the field of biology by offering core courses and programs supported by compulsory courses in entrepreneurship, communication and community. In addition to providing courses in the biological sciences, the program is also designed so that graduates have the strength in mathematics, statistics, computer and chemistry as well as the skills needed to hold a job either in government agencies, research laboratories or in industry or for further studies a higher level.

 

Requirement:

Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent with credits in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia or Passed Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) with at least:

Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in General Studies; and Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in two (2) other subjects.

and A minimum of a Level 1 (Band 1) in the Malaysian University Bahasa Inggeris Test (MUET).
