Department of Psychology and Counseling is one of the departments under the auspices of the Faculty of Social Development. The Department offers expertise in the fields of counseling and psychology to students and the public through programme studies and therapeutic and conducive counseling services. Besides offering degree program in counseling, the department will offer master’s degree program in Community Counseling in the future.

This program emphasizes the skills of either individual or group skills. Through the acquisition of planned skills means that the flow in the counseling process can run smoothly and achieve high therapeutic effect and level, as well as to mitigate and solve many problems in the organization through professional counseling.

 

 

University’s General Admission Requirements

• Passed SPM or equivalent.

• Passed Bahasa Melayu/ Bahasa Malaysia with a credit at SPM level or equivalent.

• Sat for Malaysian University English Test (MUET)

• Passed STPM examination with at least a grade of C in General Studies General Paper, and a grade of C in two (2) other subject.
