To produce graduates who have a comprehensive knowledge of the theory and its applications in the field of Fisheries Science. Preparing graduates in various disciplines of fisheries science, with emphasis on the exploitation of knowledge related to resource efficient, sustainable resource management and use of resources in a good way. Provide skilled manpower in various disciplines of fisheries science to support employment-related fields in the public and private sectors.
Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent with credits in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia or credit in Malay / Bahasa Malaysia paper in July;
Have a diploma or other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government and approved by the Senate public; or
Passed in Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) with at least;
Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in General Studies;
Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in two (2) other subjects; or
Passed Matriculation examination with a CGPA of at least 2.00;
A minimum of a Level 1 (Band 1) in the Malaysian University Bahasa Inggeris Test (MUET).
