Bachelor of Accounting is a four-year degree programme. It is recognized by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). A student should complete at least 145 credit hours according to the programme structure in order to be conferred a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. The program has been accreditated by ACCA (exemption for 9 papers), MICPA and CPA Australia.
Passed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia/SPM (Malaysian certificate of Education) or its equivalent.
Passed Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia with a credit at SPM level or its equivalent.
Sat for Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia/STPM (Malaysian Higher School Certificate) with at least a grade of C in General Studies /General Paper and a grade of C in two (2) other subjects or
Passed a diploma or other qualifications accredited by the Malaysian government and the University Senate. or
Passed MOE Matriculation/ UM Foundation Studies in Sciences with a CGPA of at least 2.00.
