COURSE OVERVIEW

This marine science programme aims to give students the a sound knowledge of the marine environment, executed through lectures, laboratory classes and field excursions. These expose students to the diversity of marine life, marine ecosystems and its interconnectivity to the environment.

This course involves studying the management of marine resources, maritime policies, oceanic-atmospheric interactions and the impact of human activities and climate changes on the ocean and its wildlife. Graduates will be able to understand and manage the conservation and sustainable utilisation of marine resources.
