This Programme aims to sustain and increase livestock products (meat, milk and eggs) using suitable technologies which could improve the genetics of livestock and the performance of their product. The main objectives of this programme are to identify, evaluate and sustain livestock development and food production processes through the latest biotechnological methods such as genetic engineering, artificial insemination, embryo transfer and cloning. Through this programme, graduates will be exposed to issues pertaining to livestock food production at local and global levels and be able to guide farmers in the production of national livestock products suitable and safe for local and global consumers.
