The programme aims to produce engineering technologists who posses sound skills in integrating biological, engineering and management principles. The courses are delivered based on a practical approach and covers basic and applied engineering subject, crops and animal applied biology as well as basic principles in economics and management.Among the subjects offered are Engineering Mechanics, Agricultural Mechanics and Workshop Technology, Mechanics of Material, Geodetics Engineering, Farm Power and Machinery, Controlled Environment Agricultural and Food Technology.Students are also exposed to agro-industrial know-how through subjects such as Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Production System, Principles of Agronomy, Agribusiness Management, Water Resources Management, Advances in Agrotechnology and Food and Herbal Crops Production Technology. The final semester of the programme is dedicated to industrial training activity where students do work experience in relevant industries to enhance their capability and skills to meet future markets needs.
