Engineering technology is a field of study that focuses on the applications of engineering and modern technology in areas such as product improvement, manufacturing, construction, and engineering operational functions. This program equips you to work as an engineering technologist and advise in planning, designing, operating and maintaining engineering works. You will specialise in mechanical - machining engineering. The first year of the program is common with the Bachelor of Engineering program and includes engineering, mathematics, computing, physics, design, instrumentation, communications and materials and testing.
