FASA offers Master and PhD programmes by research mode as the major requirement for attaining the degree. While there is no specific number of credits required for graduation, a student may be required to enroll in some courses to strengthen his/her knowledge base. A postgraduate student is also required to participate in academic discussions and seminar presentations. At the end of the programmes, the postgraduate student is required to submit a thesis that is acceptable to the Thesis Examination Committee as a significant contribution to knowledge and demonstrates mastery in the chosen field of research
Entry Requirements
Master’s degree from recognized institutions of higher learning or equivalent qualification as endorse by the Senate. University Senate may permit a candidate with an outstanding First Class Bachelor’s Degree (CGPA >3.70) for direct entry to PhD after going through the evaluation process set by the University.
