This Diploma of Engineering Technology in Mould Manufacturing is 3 year programme covers a wide spectrum of industries like Auto-mobiles, Petroleum and Gas, Medical, Food Processing etc. The students of this major are required to master the basic skill of designing, manufacturing, assembling, debugging die & mould; and the basic skill of operating and maintaining relevant equipment. By the end of the three years the students will be equipped with extensive knowledge and skill in mould fabrication. The students will have to undergo training in the area of Design, CAD/CAM, Tooling and Mould Manufacturing, Plastic Processing, Testing and Quality Control. These knowledge and skills will provide the graduates with suitable competencies to embark in careers in various manufacturing industries.
Bahasa Melayu,
Mathematics,
one Science or Technical;
two other subjects; and
at least a pass in English; OR 2.) Posses a Certificate from IKM/ILP or other certificates recognized by the Senate in relevant fields with CGPA of 2.0 and above; and at least a pass in Bahasa Melayu at SPM level.
