This Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology (Manufacturing) programme will be taught in 7 semesters (3 1/2 years period). The syllabus will cover fundamentals subjects such as mathematics, physics and aerodynamics etc, airframe systems, piston and turbine engines, the electrical and electronic systems aspect, which also includes electronics instrumentation, aircraft electrical systems and the maintenance of the aircraft electrical and instrument systems. The graduates will be specialists in the area of manufacturing method and process, inclusive also of the design and computerizing in manufacturing. Students will graduate with a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology (Manufacturing) upon completing their studies. This comprehensive training will also prepare the graduates to be readily absorbed by the aviation industry such as airlines, maintenance and repair organization, aircraft vendors, and also avionics repair stations or workshops. The training provide by UniKL MIAT will ensure that our graduates are market ready and will be readily accepted by the specific industry.
