Medical electronics has become one branch of engineering that is in demand in Malaysia. With the growing numbers of new private and government hospitals, the amount of equipment involved is massive along with the need to operate and maintained it. These factors contribute towards the shortage of graduates and the growing need in Malaysia for medical electronics engineers. The programme provides students with the unique opportunity to achive understanding, knowledge and skills in both electronics techniques and human physiology and enable then to make an immediate contribution in electronics and clinical aspects of their work.

 

Entrance Requirements

• Minimum Diploma pass with CGPA of 2.0 in a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning

• STPM or equivalent with minimum 3 OR 2 Principal Principal and 2 subsid and credit in Mathematics at SPM ** If there is no principal in Mathematics at STPM level

• Passing the Basic Course in Engineering Technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.0

• Passed Matriculation in Science / Preparation Program recognized with a minimum CGPA of 2.0

• Passed the International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum of 24 points
