This Bachelor of Aircraft Engineering Technology (Hons) in Mechanical degree is a multidisciplinary programme, built upon a strong foundation of the Sciences, Mathematics and hands-on aircraft maintenance fundamentals, designed to meet the needs and interest of students who want to excel and develop a career as a knowledgeable and competent aircraft maintenance engineer.This programme is different in nature from traditional engineering programmes, that includes mechanical and aeronautical engineering as offered by other universities which emphasize heavily on the design aspects of engineering. However, the elements of aircraft design which are more relevant to maintenance activities such as advanced material technologies, durability and repairs are included in order to increase the student readiness to face the demand of highly sophisticated aircraft's.
Diploma with minimum CGPA of 2.0 in the relevant field from UniKL or from other recognized higher learning institutions; Or
Pass in Matriculation / Foundation Programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.0; Or
Pass in International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum of 24 points; Or
STPM or its equivalent with at least Grade C in 3 subjects or at least ; Or
STPM or its equivalent with at least Grade C in 2 subjects and Grade D in two others subject including General Paper.
