Bachelor of Aircraft Engineering Technology (Hons) – Avionics, BAET-Avionics is designed to promote new skills development in avionics to meet the current and future MRO demand at various entry levels. Graduates of this program will also be trained to support the other secondary industrial and trade activities in the wide aviation domain locally and internationally. To conform to these demands, UniKL MIAT has worked closely with Institute Aeronautiqeet Spatial (IAS), Toulouse, France with the participation from aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus and Eurocopter as the industrial experts & technology providers.

Through this partnership, the BAET Avionics curriculum has been designed to meet the industry demand and make the graduates employment oriented. The program is divided into five levels of curriculum content; license aircraft maintenance, engineering technology, management and entrepreneurship modules. The license aircraft maintenance modules meet the highest international regulatory standard of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The engineering, management and entrepreneurship modules are specifically designed to expose the students to the current practices and technologies applied in the aviation industry.
