COURSE OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Accounting program aims to produce qualified and highly capable accountants for nation building. Aside from providing students with a strong theoretical background on the core component of accounting, the programme also exposes them to some relevant accounting software. This enhances the students' chance to gain lucrative employment in various corporate settings.

Course Objective:

To produce graduates who:



  • have deep understanding of the fundamentals of accounting;


  • can conduct accounting and finance related research and mini-projects;


  • are able to utilise accounting software tools and able to perform internal and external audit;


  • are able to intergrate the basics of business management, law and information systems in the field of accounting; and


  • posses effective leadership qualities, communication skills, team work, and professional work ethics




ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Detailed entry requirements

 

Diploma with minimum CGPA of 2.0 in the relevant field from UniKL or from other recognized higher learning institutions; Or

 

Pass in Matriculation / Foundation Programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.0; Or

 

Pass in International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum of 24 points; Or

 

STPM or its equivalent with at least Grade C in 3 subjects or at least ; Or

 

STPM or its equivalent with at least Grade C in 2 subjects and Grade D in two others subject including General Paper
