The programme also incorporates an honors level research and hands-on experience during industrial training.
The Nutritional Sciences Programme aims to produce nutrition graduates who have adequate understanding of the sources and functions of food, nutrient requirements, social and psychological influences and their ultimate impact on health of individuals and the community. Graduates can look forward to careers as nutritionists in the public health sector, food and health industry, and as researchers in various areas of nutritional sciences.
