The Bachelor of Information Technology (Multimedia Studies) program was first offered by the Information Science Department in 1994. This program has opened up new perspectives and possibilities in the field of ICT, communication, education, business and various other fields.
This program also supports the government’s inspiration of making Malaysia an advanced country in the field of multimedia and communications through the seven flagships applications of Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC). In relation to this, our graduates can expect careers related to the Information Technology in general, and specifically in the field of multimedia applications such as electronic content development, animation, digital games and e-learning by supporting the technical aspects of these industries including the multimedia creative industries.
Qualified graduates can further their studies in postgraduate programs where they can enhance their knowledge and skill in the advance of Multimedia System Development.
