<div>The Master of Science in System Design Engineering (MScSDE) programme exposes students to up-to-date theoretical and practical aspects of system design, advanced computing technologies, and their knowledge in developing semiconductor electronics, power electronics, IoT devices or systems, or mechatronics systems. Students will also be equipped with the capability to address complex engineering-related problems in industry.&nbsp;</div>

<ul><li>Recognised Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 <strong>AND</strong>&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>For International students, TOEFL score of 500 OR IELTS score of 5.0 OR its equivalent.&nbsp; If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPs must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student&rsquo;s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme. Degree holders with CGPA above 2.0 but less than 2.5 may be admitted, subject to a&nbsp;rigorous internal assessment process.</li><li>*Upon KDN approval.</li></ul><p><strong>Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL)</strong></p><p>Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) provides an opportunity for individuals with working experience but lack of formal academic qualifications to pursue their tertiary studies.&nbsp; APEL involves the identification, documentation and assessment of prior experiential learning to determine the extent to which an individual has achieved the desired learning outcomes, for access to a programme of study.</p><p>Applicants should comply with the following admission criteria stipulated by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA):</p><ul><li><strong>APEL (A):</strong>&nbsp;The candidate must be a Malaysian citizen who is at least 30 years of age in the year of application and possesses relevant work experience. The candidate must have at least an STPM or diploma qualification, and pass the APEL evaluation assessment.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>

<p class="common-text">Applicants should have passed intermediate or PUC from Mathematics, Physics &amp; Chemistry from any recognized board of Malaysia to get enrolled under the bachelor level of courses in engineering such as, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.). The eligibility for enrolling under master level programs of engineering is BE/ B.Tech passed from any recognized colleges or universities in Malaysia.</p>
