The Bachelor of Technology (Honours) in Mechatronics programme teaches you a combined mechanical, electrical, computer and industrial engineering to develop intelligent-integrated machines, systems, processes and methodologies. This is an ever-expanding field with the majority of electrical devices now having mechanical parts integrated with electronic components.

 

You will gain knowledge of mechatronic engineering fundamental and principles, and become well-versed in mechanical, electronics and software integration. Using tools and techniques appropriate to mechatronics engineering technology, you will be able to resolve related problems and design their systematic solutions. You will also learn to work with the appropriate consideration for public health and safety as well as concerns for the environment and sustainability.
