This programme is designed to: provide students with knowledge of contemporary educational theories and research related to primary school education. develop competencies in effective teaching including good subject knowledge and sound professional skills. produce graduates who are capable of curriculum innovation, school management reform and leadership to bring about continuous improvement. train teachers with Diploma or Certificate of Education to pursue an education degree for professional development, life-long learning and life enrichment purposes.</p>

<p>Candidates with the following criteria will be eligible to be considered for admission into the undergraduate programme:</p><p><strong>Regular Entry</strong></p><p>Candidates must possess a minimum of:</p><ul><li>A pass in STPM or its equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects (A-Level at least Grade D in 2 subjects are needed); OR</li><li>UEC III with a minimum 5 Grade B; OR</li><li>A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid; OR</li><li>A Diploma or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR</li><li>Matriculation / Foundation or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.</li><li>A Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/ Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/ Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.5, pass bridging courses*.<br />* Must pass and complete bridging courses within the first year of studies.</li></ul><p><strong>Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL)</strong><br /><br />Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) provides an opportunity forindividuals with working experience but lack of formal academic qualifications topursue their tertiary studies. APEL involves the identification, documentation andassessment of prior experiential learning to determine the extent to which anindividual has achieved the desired learning outcomes, for access to a programmeof study.Applicants should comply with the following admission criteria stipulated by theMinistry of Higher Education (MOHE) and Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA):? The candidate should be at least 21 years of age in the year of application andpossess relevant work experience.</p>
