<p><strong>Programme Objective</strong></p>

<li>To utilize fundamental knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills to articulate and make decisions critically and creatively within the field of construction management based on research evidences;</li>
<li>To conduct research independently and develop functional work skills through presentation, research publication, and the application of appropriate tools and techniques; and</li>
<li>To acquire advanced knowledge in pursuing lifelong learning and display commitment to the community and profession by adhering to legal, ethical, and professional codes of practice in the field of construction management.</li>

<ul><li data-start="118" data-end="241">A Master&rsquo;s Degree in Construction Management or an equivalent in a related field accepted by the Senate; OR</li><li data-start="243" data-end="353">Other qualifications equivalent to a Master&rsquo;s degree recognized by the Government of Malaysia.</li></ul><p data-start="355" data-end="527">Candidates without a related qualification in the field or relevant work experience must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the HEP.</p><ul data-start="529" data-end="1405"><li data-start="529" data-end="981"><p data-start="531" data-end="847">A Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Construction Management or an equivalent in a related field with first-class honors (CGPA of 3.67 or higher) can be accepted, subject to demonstrating competency and capability in conducting PhD-level research through rigorous internal assessment and Senate approval.</p><ul data-start="850" data-end="981"><li data-start="850" data-end="981">However, no exit award for a Master&rsquo;s degree will be granted to candidates who do not meet PhD graduation requirements.</li></ul></li><li data-start="983" data-end="1405"><p data-start="985" data-end="1136">Candidates registered for a Master&rsquo;s degree by research with a Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree may apply to convert their candidacy to a PhD programme:</p><ul data-start="1139" data-end="1405"><li data-start="1139" data-end="1190">Within one (1) year for full-time students.</li><li data-start="1193" data-end="1245">Within two (2) years for part-time students.</li><li data-start="1248" data-end="1405">Subject to demonstrating competency and capability in conducting PhD-level research through rigorous internal assessment and Senate approval.</li></ul></li></ul>
