<p>The Diploma of Civil Engineering program prepares students for highly competitive, national placement in civil engineering employment and graduate education by providing a thorough grounding in civil engineering science and design, together with a foundation in mathematics, basic sciences and life skills. This programme is aimed to prepare and produce engineering graduates qualified with proficiencies and experiences in civil engineering field and also to fulfill the current industrial demands.</p>

<p><em><strong>Local:&nbsp;</strong></em></p><ul><li>Passed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / Sijil Pelajaran Vokasional (SPMV) with at least 3 credits including Mathematics and 1 other Sciences/Technical/Vokasional subject;</li><li>Passed Certificate in related field from PPT recognized by Malaysian Government with minimum CGPA 2.00;</li><li>Passed other qualification that organized by Malaysian Government.</li></ul><p><em><strong>International :</strong></em></p><ul><li><p>Secondary school or equivalent AND score 500 in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) OR score 5.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) OR equivalent. If the student does not meet the criteria, the HEP must offer an English course to ensure the student&rsquo;s proficiency in order to meet the program requirements. This is usually done through an assessment process.</p></li></ul>

<h3 class="common-heading">Eligibility Requirements</h3>

<p class="common-text">Applicants should have passed intermediate or PUC from Mathematics, Physics &amp; Chemistry from any recognized board of Malaysia to get enrolled under the bachelor level of courses in engineering such as, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.). The eligibility for enrolling under master level programs of engineering is BE/ B.Tech passed from any recognized colleges or universities in Malaysia.</p>
