<p>The Master of Accounting and Finance programme provides graduates with a solid grounding to pursue a career in accountancy, finance and business. It also equips graduates with the ability to analyse and synthesise financial information within the context of business functions for financial decision-making. This programme is well- suited to anyone wishing to develop and consolidate his knowledge of accounting and finance with a view to pursue a career in either field.</p>

<p><strong>Minimum Entry Requirements</strong></p><p>- A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (Level 6, MQF) in Accounting or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR</p><p>- A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (Level 6, MQF) in Accounting or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment as determined by the HEP; OR</p><p>- A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (Level 6, MQF) in Non-Accounting field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to:</p><p>a) A thorough rigorous assessment as determined by the HEP to identify the appropriate prerequisite courses that equivalent to their minimum of working experience; OR</p><p>b) Five (5) years of working experience in the relevant field OR</p><p>- A Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Accounting or a related field below a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of five (5) years of working experience in the relevant field; OR</p><p>- A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (Level 6, MQF) in Non-Accounting field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment as determined by the HEP to identify the appropriate prerequisite courses that equivalent to their working experience in the Accounting or related fields; OR</p><p>- A relevant professional accounting qualification equivalent to a bachelor&rsquo;s degree as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR</p><p>- Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Government of Malaysia must fulfil the requirement on item i or ii.</p><p><strong>English Language Requirements</strong></p><p>1) Malaysian Students</p><p>MUET Band 4.0 or IELTS Band 5.5 or CEFR Low B2 or TOEFL iBT 46 or equivalent; OR</p><p>Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English</p><p>2) International Students</p><p>IELTS Band 5.5 or CEFR Low B2 or TOEFL iBT 46 or equivalent</p><p>Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English</p>
