This programme aims to provide students with thorough and rigorous learning of financial accounting and reporting, management accounting and control, taxation, audit and assurance, IT applications in accounting, professional values and ethics and corporate governance and their applications in the context of business organisations as well as the compliance framework required under the relevant authorities.
Study path:
Students will follow the internally assessed ACCA fundamentals programme in Year 1 and Year 2 of the Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) programme. Upon successful completion of Year 1 and Year 2 of Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) programme, students can claim exemptions from all 9 papers of ACCA Fundamentals.
In Year 3, students are prepared to sit for the Professional Level (5 papers) of the ACCA examination.
