The Mechatronic Engineering (Robotics) programme centres on the fusion of mechanical, electronic, and computer control systems to address the engineering challenges of Industry 4.0, with a particular focus on robotics engineering.
Designed to equip graduates with the skills for the future workforce, the programme places a strong emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Industrial Automation. Sustainability and practical learning are core components, with project-based learning integrated throughout the curriculum. These projects are aligned with industry needs and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), enabling students to develop innovative solutions to real-world issues using cutting-edge technologies like AI, Data Analytics, Industrial Automation, Robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Students benefit from state-of-the-art laboratories developed in collaboration with industry leaders, such as the Collaborative Robots and Industrial Automation Laboratory and the Mobile Robotics Laboratory, providing them with valuable hands-on experience in the field.
