The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Interior Architecture is a dynamic programme designed for aspiring interior architecture professionals aiming to lead the field with innovation and creativity. Over a span of 3.5 years, students will engage with various facets of interior design, building skills and knowledge that empower them to contribute confidently and creatively to the profession.

The programme offers a diverse learning experience, starting with studio sessions that introduce students to the foundational principles of design thinking. This hands-on approach allows for skill development in crafting interactions between people and interior spaces. Students will study both theoretical and practical subjects such as design practice, modelling, drawing, furniture design, and sustainable design. With a strong design sense, communication abilities, and proficiency in the latest technologies, students will be well-prepared for careers across various design disciplines.

A key feature of the programme is the 6-month industrial placement, providing immersive real-world learning. The course structure adheres to the standards set by the Board of Architects Malaysia (Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia, LAM).

Upon successful completion, graduates will earn dual certifications, receiving degrees from both Sunway University and Lancaster University, cementing their expertise as professional interior architects.
