<div>Wholly-owned by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and University College Dublin (UCD), two of Ireland&rsquo;s oldest and also most prestigious medical universities, RCSI &amp; UCD Malaysia Campus (RUMC) medical degree programme offers students an experience of their lifetime. The five-year programme is accredited by both the Irish and Malaysian Medical Councils. For the first two and a half years of the programme, you will be based in Ireland and undertake biomedical and early clinical sciences studies in RCSI or UCD. Upon completion of your pre-clinical studies, you will return to Penang, Malaysia for a further two and a half years where you will complete rigorous and extensive clinical training. Successful graduates of the five-year programme are awarded medical degrees from the National University of Ireland, receiving the same qualifications as those who complete a full programme in Ireland. <p><a href="http://www.rcsiucd.edu.my/" data-cke-saved-href="http://www.rcsiucd.edu.my/">RCSI &amp; UCD Malaysia Campus</a> is Malaysia&rsquo;s first accredited private medical school, owned and established by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and University College Dublin (UCD), two world-renowned medical universities in Ireland. Recently, the College was awarded University status by the Malaysian Ministry of Education (MOE) as a Foreign University Branch Campus, one of the highest levels for a foreign-owned institution in Malaysia. Foundation is a pre-university course offered to the students prior to their university degree education. The Foundation Course can be taken up by students internally at any local university as well as in partnership with the partnering overseas universities. The Foundation Course is usually of one year duration and includes all the key concepts that a student would be going through in brief during their graduation or bachelor degree program. 
The minimum eligibility for enrolling in a Foundation Program will be SPM from any recognized private or government school in Malaysia.
