<p>The Diploma in Computer Science (DCS) is a 2-year course that gives you the foundational skills and knowledge in Computer Science. Through DCS, students will focus on Programming, Mathematics and Statistics, Databases, Data Modelling, Data Visualisation, Data Analytics and Software Implementation which lead towards Data Sciences and Cloud Computing Technology. At the end of the programme, students are expected to be able to appreciate and utilise the latest computer technologies as well as demonstrate competent communication skills. Students should also be able to apply their educational experience in the actual working environment.</p>

<p><strong>SPM</strong><br />A pass with at least credit in any three subjects inclusive of Mathematics or any equivalent qualification; OR</p><p><strong>STPM</strong><br />A pass with a minimum of Grade C (Grade Points, GP 2.0) in any subject or any equivalent qualification and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR</p><p><strong>STAM</strong><br />A pass with a minimum grade of Maqbul (pass) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR</p><p><strong>SKM</strong><br />A pass SKM Level 3, and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR</p><p>A pass in any qualifications equivalent to Certificate (Level 3, MQF) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.</p><p><strong>Notes:</strong><br />Candidates who have passed Mathematics at the SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted, provided their certificate program includes Mathematics subjects equivalent to those at the SPM level.</p><p>Candidates with a pass in Mathematics at SPM level and without a related certificate will need to take a reinforcement Mathematics subject with appropriate topics in the discipline of Computing at the beginning of their study.</p><p>Candidates with a credit in Computing-related subjects at SPM level or its equivalent may be given preferential consideration.</p>
