Islamic Finance

<p>This Bachelor Of Islamic Finance And Banking (Hons)&nbsp;program aims to produce highly ethical and knowledgeable graduates who can contribute to the industry and society. Upon completion of the programme, graduates are expected to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of Islamic finance and banking, utilize the knowledge, skills and tools that they have acquired in fulfilling the human capital needs of the industry and demonstrate ethical behavior and attitude in carrying out their responsibility. Graduates from this course are expected to hold various managerial positions such as management executives and financial advisor in the industry. They are anticipated to attain the required competency in carrying out their administrative and consultative responsibilities in addition to an outstanding communication skills to interact at the national and international level.<br /><br /></p>

<p><strong><a href="http://www.uum.edu.my/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM)</a></strong> is a public university situated in the town of Sintok, Kedah. It is among the few public universities vested with autonomous status by the Ministry of Higher Education. Established in 1984, UUM is the sixth Malaysian public university to be erected, and it was solely set up for management education. Its College of Business (COB) has approximately 500 academic staff which makes it the business college with the largest number of academic staff in the country. Moreover, UUM has been ranked highly in SETARA (5 star), MyRA and Top Business Sch00l (TBS). Programmes UUM has three faculties called Academic Colleges: the College of Business, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the College of Law, Government and Internationals Studies.&nbsp;</p>

<p>UUM was the first university to implement fiber optics in the campus networking infrastructure to promote technology in education as well as ensuring their students latest information and developments. In the near future, UUM plans to offer a Bachelor of Business Administration in Golf Management with Malaysian Golf Academy. In terms of achievements and awards, UUM has participated and won medals at several exhibitions like the Malaysia Technology Exhibition, the International Invention and Technology Exhibition, the Seoul International invention Fair and the International Institution of Higher Learning Conference.</p>
<p>UUM has climbed up the rankings from the 801-1,000 position last year to the 601-800 position in the recently announced results of the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2021!</p>

Generally, a bachelor degree takes three years for completion and it&rsquo;s available in almost any discipline that one wishes to study. Those students who take Mathematics &amp; Science in their PUC or Intermediate can enroll themselves in a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) course.
