Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) was formerly known as Universiti Darul Iman Malaysia (UDM) and is located at Kuala Terengganu. Originally established as Kolej Agama Sultan Zainal Abidin (KUSZA) under the administration of Terengganu Religious Affairs Department, UniSZA officially began the formation of a full-fledged university after the Prime Minister’s announcement in 2005 and the appointment of the first Vice Chancellor in 2006.
The university was formed in 2007 with an extended number of programs and disciplines.
Programmes
Operating under the motto of “Knowledge for the Benefit of Humanity”, UniSZA aspires to be a world class institution of higher learning that produces and shapes talented leaders who are knowledgeable, refined and noble in areas such as Innovative Design and Technology, Languages and Communications, Informatics, Contemporary Islamic Studies as well as Business Management and Accounting.
UniSZA has two campuses in the town of Kuala Terengganu and the nearby village of Gong Badak with another campus in the town of Besut under construction.
