<div>The programme is designed to fulfil the country&rsquo;s need for professionals in accounting. In designing the programme, due consideration is given to ensuring that potential graduates are well equipped with the knowledge and skills to meet the challenging work environment.</div>

<div>Learners are required to complete a total of 134 credit hours of prescribed studies in order to graduate. The programme structure covers five main areas:</div>
<ul>
<li>accounting, finance and related knowledge</li>
<li>organisational and business knowledge</li>
<li>information technology</li>
<li>communication skills, industrial exposure and integrated case study, and</li>
<li>non-accounting knowledge taken through elective courses</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Normal Entry</strong></p><ul><li>MUET Band 2; AND</li><li>Pass STPM or its equivalent, with minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in 2 subjects, and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level; or</li><li>Pass STAM with minimum grade of Jayyid (good), and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level; or</li><li>Pass Diploma (MQF Level 4) in accounting or related field, or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50; or</li><li>Pass Matriculation/Foundation/Asasi or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level; or</li><li>Pass UEC with minimum Grade B in 5 subjects including Mathematics; or</li><li>Other recognised equivalent qualifications.</li><li>English competency requirement for international students: Score of TOEFL 550 or IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.</li></ul><p>The credit requirement in Mathematics at SPM level for candidates (i), (ii) and (iv) can be exempted if the qualifications comprise of Mathematics subject and the achievement is equivalent to/above the credit requirement of the subject at the SPM level. (Equality of the subjects is the responsibility of HEP and the HEP needs to have strong internal policies/procedures in assessing the equality).</p><p><strong>APEL Entry</strong></p><ul><li>Malaysian; and</li><li>Candidate must be 21 years old and above in the year of the application being made; and</li><li>Have previous working experience/learning relevant to the field applied; and</li><li>Pass APEL Assessment for Bachelor Degree (conducted by OUM).</li></ul>

There are a number of courses for students to choose from if they wish to pursue a Pre University Program. Almost all the universities offer a Pre Degree or Pre University Course in accordance with the boards operating in the Secondary School Leaving School.
