<p>This 2-year diploma is designed to meet the ever growing demand for accounting professionals, especially by local small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia. The emphasis is on equipping students with the necessary skills to handle a full set of accounts, basic auditing and taxation knowledge, and computerized accounting. Taught by qualified and experienced lecturers, evaluation of students will be through a combination of continuous assessment, hands-on practical learning and project-based teaching.</p>

Academic Requirements

<p style="text-align: justify;">The New Era University College started as New Era College in 1998. The college was the outcome of many years of effort and unwavering support from the Chinese community. On 30 December 2016, New Era was upgraded to university college status by the Ministry of Higher Education. With that NEUC is now ready and able to play an even bigger role as a provider of quality community-orientated tertiary education to serve not only the needs of the community but also that of the whole nation.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This university college currently has nine faculties comprising of the Graduate School; Institute of International Education; Arts &amp; Social Sciences; Computer Science and Information Computing Technology; Art and Design; Communication, Cinematic and Performing Arts; Accountancy, Management and Economics; and Heath, Safety, Secutiry and Environment, Institute of Ageing and Professional Care.&nbsp;</p>
